S\u2019\u00e9tendant du sud-ouest au nord-est, l\u2019avenue Syngrou relie le centre-ville d\u2019Ath\u00e8nes au front de mer de la ville.<\/p>\n

Une fois le Centre Culturel de la Fondation Stavros Niarchos achev\u00e9 (fin 2016), dans la zone c\u00f4ti\u00e8re de Faliro, cet axe important deviendra le moyen de connexion entre les importantes institutions culturelles d\u2019Ath\u00e8nes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Au d\u00e9but du nouvel axe culturel se trouve le Mus\u00e9e de l\u2019Acropole, une \u0153uvre con\u00e7ue par l\u2019architecte suisse Bernard Tschumi. Ouvert au public en 2007, le mus\u00e9e est imm\u00e9diatement devenu une attraction importante avec ses espaces int\u00e9rieurs transparents lumineux, cr\u00e9ant ainsi les conditions id\u00e9ales pour exposer l\u2019unique collection de sculptures.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 seulement un demi-kilom\u00e8tre en aval de la c\u00f4te, nous d\u00e9couvrons le nouveau Mus\u00e9e national d\u2019art contemporain d\u2019Ath\u00e8nes, un projet con\u00e7u par les architectes du groupe grec 3SK. Situ\u00e9 dans le b\u00e2timent d\u2019une ancienne brasserie, le mus\u00e9e est c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pour sa forme extr\u00eamement allong\u00e9e, cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1957 par l\u2019architecte grec Takis Zenetos, dont l\u2019ouverture est pr\u00e9vue pour 2016.<\/p>\n

Le nouveau centre d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat important sur l\u2019axe culturel est le Centre culturel Onassis, situ\u00e9 un km plus loin dans la m\u00eame direction. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un projet achev\u00e9 en 2010 par l\u2019agence fran\u00e7aise \u00ab Architecture Studio \u00bb. Les bandes rectangulaires de marbre blanc, couvrant les quatre fa\u00e7ades, constituent un moyen innovateur et int\u00e9ressant d\u2019utilisation de ce mat\u00e9riau.<\/p>\n

Une fois arriv\u00e9s sur la c\u00f4te, nous pouvons voir le nouveau centre culturel d\u2019Ath\u00e8nes, situ\u00e9 sur un terrain se trouvant face au golfe Saronique et \u00e0 une distance de 4,5 km du centre-ville, qui est sur le point d\u2019\u00eatre achev\u00e9.<\/strong> Con\u00e7u par l\u2019architecte italien Renzo Piano, le projet abritera la nouvelle Biblioth\u00e8que nationale de la Gr\u00e8ce et l\u2019Op\u00e9ra national, entour\u00e9 d\u2019un parc paysager de 170 000 m2, et sera un point d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat fort situ\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin du nouvel axe culturel d\u2019Ath\u00e8nes.<\/p>\n
