Le mus\u00e9e d’ethnographie de l’architecte Napur cr\u00e9e une nouvelle entr\u00e9e dans le parc de la ville de Budapest, mais r\u00e9pond \u00e9galement \u00e0 l’emplacement du parc et \u00e0 l’histoire du lieu.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pour la plupart des habitants de Budapest, le chemin vers le parc municipal Liget passe par la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre rue Andr\u00e1ssy, toute droite. Or, ce n’est pas du tout la rue Andr\u00e1ssy, mais l’axe rue Kir\u00e1ly – avenue V\u00e1rosligeti qui constitue le chemin traditionnel entre le centre m\u00e9di\u00e9val de la ville et le parc vieux de plus de 200 ans. \u00c0 l’origine, le chemin menait au rondeau circulaire entour\u00e9 de trois rang\u00e9es d’arbres et d’un petit portail qui n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 l’\u00e9poque.
\nC’est exactement ce que les cr\u00e9ateurs du projet Liget ont retenu lorsqu’ils ont propos\u00e9 deux b\u00e2timents de mus\u00e9e, l’un pour la photographie et l’autre pour l’architecture, \u00e0 l’extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 de l’avenue V\u00e1rosligeti afin de cr\u00e9er une situation de passerelle. Lors d’un premier concours en 2011, deux b\u00e2timents en forme de cube ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les plus convaincants pour le jury. Apr\u00e8s une modification du concept, le mus\u00e9e d’ethnographie s’est vu attribuer cet emplacement et un deuxi\u00e8me concours a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9 en mai 2016, remport\u00e9 par le studio Napur architect, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Budapest et dirig\u00e9 par Marcel Ferencz. Le geste d’un motif de porte invers\u00e9e a convaincu le jury : l’axe historique a enfin trouv\u00e9 sa digne conclusion, \u00e9gale et formellement li\u00e9e au demi-cercle des rois sur la Place des H\u00e9ros toute proche.<\/p>\n

La fin de la place d’armes<\/h2>\n

Le site du mus\u00e9e a longtemps \u00e9t\u00e9 un lieu sans usage de parc. L’\u00e9glise Regnum Marianum y a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite en 1931, mais 20 ans plus tard, elle a d\u00fb c\u00e9der la place \u00e0 une place d’armes comprenant un monument \u00e0 la gloire de Staline. Le monument \u00e0 Staline a disparu apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9volution de 1956, mais la tribune et les 12 hectares d’espace sans arbres sont rest\u00e9s en place pendant trois d\u00e9cennies apr\u00e8s.
\nCe n’est que 50 ans plus tard que le monument de la r\u00e9volution de 1956 est inaugur\u00e9 \u00e0 l’endroit m\u00eame o\u00f9 les insurg\u00e9s ont fait tomber le monument \u00e0 Staline.<\/p>\n

Si le visiteur se dirige aujourd’hui vers le toit vert et incurv\u00e9 du mus\u00e9e, le chemin se termine pratiquement dans le n\u00e9ant. Au lieu de cela, vous atteignez la hauteur de l’avant-toit des b\u00e2timents voisins et vous vous \u00e9merveillez de la nouvelle vue sur la ville jusqu’aux collines de Buda. La particularit\u00e9 du mus\u00e9e d’ethnographie n’est pas seulement sa forme d’arc allong\u00e9, mais aussi les ornements m\u00e9talliques de sa fa\u00e7ade. On dirait que quelqu’un a pouss\u00e9 des couches de terre, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant un demi-million de pixels m\u00e9talliques au lieu de terre, citant les d\u00e9corations des diff\u00e9rentes expositions du mus\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Des motifs de vases, de paniers, de chapeaux ou de couvertures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 abstraits \u00e0 un point tel qu’ils peuvent transmettre \u00e0 l’ext\u00e9rieur une image contemporaine du contenu du b\u00e2timent du mus\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

La promenade int\u00e9rieure r\u00e9serve \u00e9galement une petite sensation : la maquette de la ville \u00ab\u00a0Budapest 1910\u00a0\u00bb. Au terme d’une visite architecturale, l’\u0153il peut retracer le parcours du centre ville via les rues Kir\u00e1ly ou Andr\u00e1ssy jusqu’au parc de la ville, et voir \u00e0 quoi aurait pu ressembler le parc il y a 110 ans, sans les nouveaux b\u00e2timents du mus\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
