La Hill House de Charles Rennie Mackintosh a \u00e9t\u00e9 achev\u00e9e en 1904, mais en raison de l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 du climat \u00e9cossais, le b\u00e2timent a subi des infiltrations d&rsquo;eau et des d\u00e9g\u00e2ts sur sa fa\u00e7ade. En 2019, Carmody Groarke a achev\u00e9 son intervention, un \u00ab\u00a0manteau\u00a0\u00bb d&rsquo;acier et de maille pour le b\u00e2timent, afin de garder l&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 hors du b\u00e2timent pendant que le National Trust for Scotland planifie la restauration. L&rsquo;accent est mis ici sur les interventions architecturales contemporaines dans la vieille ville historique. La chapelle isol\u00e9e de St Albert the Great, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Simpson Brown Architects en 2012, est l&rsquo;une des plus appr\u00e9ci\u00e9es. Cette structure s&rsquo;\u00e9tend d&rsquo;un immeuble de rapport, utilis\u00e9 par l&rsquo;aum\u00f4nerie de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00c9dimbourg, avec un lien fort avec son jardin. Ce titre a \u00e9t\u00e9 renforc\u00e9 lorsque Kengo Kuma a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 le V&amp;A Dundee en 2018.
