Pour l\u2019instant \u2013 vraiment pour l\u2019instant \u2013 Ljubljana \u00e9voque en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral un point blanc sur la carte. Les germanophones connaissent mieux la capitale slov\u00e8ne sous le nom de Laibach. Pas \u00e9tonnant, puisqu\u2019aujourd\u2019hui encore, plus de 100 ans apr\u00e8s la chute de la monarchie des Habsbourg, beaucoup associent ville au style autrichien. Ce n\u2019est vrai qu\u2019en partie puisque ses fondations tr\u00e8s anciennes remontent \u00e0 Rome et que son \u00ab fils \u00bb le plus connu, le grand architecte et urbaniste Jo\u017ee Ple\u010dnik, a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 Vienne aupr\u00e8s d\u2019Otto Wagner mais a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9, une fois rentr\u00e9 \u00e0 Ljubljana, une forme de langage architectural particuli\u00e8rement original qui emprunte \u00e0 la tradition du b\u00e2ti slov\u00e8ne et \u00e0 l\u2019antiquit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

La Ljubljana de Ple\u010dnik<\/h5>\n

\u2028<\/u>Cela dit, la reconfiguration du centre de Ljubljana due \u00e0 Ple\u010dnik en 1925 reste une caract\u00e9ristique importante de de la ville, malgr\u00e9 les \u00e9volutions constantes apport\u00e9es par la jeune g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019architectes. On se prom\u00e8ne toujours sur les quais de la Ljubljanica con\u00e7us par Ple\u010dnik, mais on remarque en m\u00eame temps les ajouts contemporains, par exemple les ponts pi\u00e9tons, les rampes et les espaces publics. Tout s\u2019int\u00e8gre harmonieusement, comme les trois c\u00e9l\u00e8bres ponts de Ple\u010dnik appel\u00e9s Tromostovje.<\/p>\n

Les architectes slov\u00e8nes n\u2019oublient pas la tradition et comme Ravnikar, respectent l\u2019existant tout en cr\u00e9ant de l\u2019espace \u2013 un maximum d\u2019espace. Ces ingr\u00e9dients produisent des constructions du m\u00eame niveau que l\u2019architecture haut de gamme du reste de l\u2019Europe et pourtant si uniques que l\u2019architecture slov\u00e8ne du 21e si\u00e8cle est pleinement reconnue.<\/p>\n
