Kneife sie zusammen, schaue nochmals. Wei\u00df. Pr\u00e4zise, harmonisch, poetisch wie immer. Doch wei\u00df. Nur wei\u00df!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201eLess is more\u201c haben wir doch schon vor langem gelernt. Die Reduktion auf die Essenz. Raum, Proportion, Licht. Vielleicht auch Transparenz und Konstruktion. Das alles macht die moderne Architektur aus, und Mies van der Rohes Barcelona-Pavillon ist deren Ikone schlechthin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tausendmal habe ich ihn wohl schon gesehen, nach f\u00fcnfundzwanzig Jahren Architekturf\u00fchrungen in Barcelona. Bei Sonne, Wind, Sturzfluten, Gewitter, Schnee, am fr\u00fchen Morgen, bei brennender Mittagshitze, bei Vollmond. Und mich immer wieder aufs Neue gefreut, an diesen einmaligen Ort wiederzukehren. Copyright: Anna Mas.<\/p><\/div>\n<h5><strong>Eine neue Haut f\u00fcr eine erneuerte Wahrnehmung<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Doch nun ist er pl\u00f6tzlich wei\u00df. Das finnisch-katalanische Architektenpaar Anna und Eugeni Bach haben ihn f\u00fcr kurze Zeit komplett mit einer feinen wei\u00dfen Haut beschichtet. Die schon auf die Essenz reduzierte Architekturikone weiter abstrahiert. Das Unm\u00f6gliche weiterentwickelt. Entmaterialisiert, verfremdet, bekleidet. Eine Frage, die aktueller kaum sein k\u00f6nnte: Gibt sich die Architektur doch heute oft wieder in einer ausgemachten \u201eFaschingslaune\u201c (Semper). Repr\u00e4sentiert die Oberfl\u00e4che die dahinter stehende Konstruktion? Vermittelt sie im Sinne Sempers genau das Gegenteil und stellt somit mehr Bekleidung denn Teil einer strukturellen Einheit dar? Copyright: Adri\u00e0 Goula.<\/p><\/div>\n<h5><strong>Neutralisierung der edlen Materialit\u00e4t <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dem neutral \u00fcberzogenen Pavillon fehlt nun pl\u00f6tzlich die das Material abbildende Oberfl\u00e4che. \u201eEvolution der kultur ist gleichbedeutend mit dem entfernen des ornaments aus dem gebrauchsgegenstande.\u201c (Loos) Licht und Schatten zeichnen sich pr\u00e4zise und wie nie gesehen ab. Feinste Unregelm\u00e4\u00dfigkeiten der akkuraten Struktur werden sichtbar. Die selbstleuchtende, transluzente Doppelwand verliert an suggestiver Kraft.
